Hire an AI agent developer, dedicated to your business

Agents that finish the job. With a person approving what counts.

Neon Link gives a US business one dedicated, full-time AI agent developer who works remotely from the Philippines or India, with real overlap with your US business hours, building and running AI agents that take actions in your systems. They build agents with the Claude Agent SDK, the OpenAI Agents SDK or LangGraph, connect them to your CRM, inbox, files and databases through MCP servers with scoped permissions and an audit log, and set approval points so a person on your side signs off before anything reaches a customer, moves money or deletes data. It is quoted per engagement after a short call, with no setup fee, month to month.

What your Linker handles

  • Sit with the person who does a multi-step job today, decide whether an agent should take it on, and map where a person must approve before the agent acts
  • Build agents that take actions with tools, using the Claude Agent SDK, the OpenAI Agents SDK, LangGraph or plain API tool calling
  • Build MCP servers and tool connections into your CRM, inbox, files, databases and internal APIs, with scoped permissions
  • Keep an audit log of every tool call, so you can see what the agent did and when
  • Set guardrails: input checks, step and spend limits, safe defaults, and human approval before anything reaches a customer, moves money or deletes data
  • Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor every day to build faster, and review and test what they write before it ships
  • Test reliability on real cases: whether the job got done, tool call errors, loops and stalls, with an eval suite rerun on every change
  • Write a runbook for each agent: what it can do, what it can't, who approves what, and how to switch it off
Your tools

We screen for Python or TypeScript, tool calling with the Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK or LangGraph, MCP servers with sound auth and permissions, evals and traces, and daily use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. Browser or computer use agents and n8n are a plus. If a finalist has not used yours, you'll know before they start.

How the work is measured

What your Linker is measured on. The targets are set with you in the first week and written into your statement of work.

  • Task success on real cases from your business, with the reliability bar set with you
  • Tool call errors, loops and stalls, tracked in an eval suite rerun on every change
  • Every action that reaches a customer or a system of record carries the approval you asked for, visible in the audit log

Who we put on it

  • Signs a confidentiality agreement and passes a background check
  • Works with real overlap on your US business hours from a quiet, private workspace
  • Wired internet with a backup connection and a plan for power outages
  • Clear written and spoken English your customers and partners can follow

How it starts

  1. Step 1Send us your job ad, or tell us the work on a 15 or 30 minute call with Dan.
  2. Step 2Get a written quote for the role, held for 30 days.
  3. Step 3We recruit and screen for your work and your tools, and you interview the finalist before they start.
  4. Step 4Your Linker works on your systems on your hours. A Neon Link manager runs the account and answers when you need them.
  5. Step 5If the fit is wrong in the first 60 days, we swap them at no cost.

A good fit, and not a fit

  • Businesses with a repeatable multi-step job across their inbox, CRM and files that eats someone's day
  • Teams that want Claude or another model connected to their own systems through MCP, with permissions they control
  • Owners who want agents they can audit and pause, built by one person who learns their systems
Not a fit
  • A chatbot that only answers questions. If you need answers from your documents, look at an AI engineer
  • Agents that act on customers, money or records with nobody approving. Approval points are part of every build
  • Replacing the person who owns the work. The agent takes the steps; your team keeps the judgment calls
  • A team or round-the-clock support. Your Linker is one person working with overlap on your US business hours

Questions owners ask

How much does it cost to hire an AI agent developer through Neon Link?

It is quoted per engagement, because the scope and the seniority you need change the person we recruit. You get a written quote after a short call, held for 30 days, with no setup fee and month to month terms. For comparison, a US software developer costs about $16,210 a month fully loaded, using the BLS median wage plus employer costs.

What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?

A chatbot answers. An agent reads a request, decides what to do, calls tools in your systems and finishes a multi-step job, such as looking up a record, updating it and drafting the reply. Because it acts, your agent developer builds approval points, step and spend limits and an audit log into every agent, and a person on your side approves anything that reaches a customer, moves money or deletes data.

What is an MCP server, and why would my business need one?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way to connect an AI model such as Claude to your systems. An MCP server exposes a defined set of actions, such as reading a CRM record or searching your files, with permissions you set. Your agent developer builds servers that reach only what the job needs and log every call, so you can see exactly what the agent touched.

How do I turn an agent off if something goes wrong?

Every agent ships with a runbook that says what it can do, what it can't, who approves what and how to switch it off, and your team gets walked through it. Step and spend limits stop a runaway loop, and the audit log shows what ran. Pausing it is your call at any time.

How is this different from hiring a virtual assistant?

You get one dedicated person who works only for your business, on your hours, inside your software, and a Neon Link manager runs the account: pay, equipment, replacement if it comes to that, and a phone that gets answered. You never run offshore payroll or manage a freelancer alone. It is not a shared pool, a ticket queue or a 24/7 answering line.

How fast can someone start?

We start recruiting when you say go. You interview the finalist before anyone starts, and the start date is set with you once you pick the person. We would rather take the time to find the right fit than hand you whoever is free.

What if the person is not the right fit?

If the fit is wrong in the first 60 days, we swap them at no cost. After that, if they leave, we recruit the replacement at no charge and manage the handover. Training on your process runs at the normal monthly rate.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. Month to month is available on every plan. The 6-month plan trades a longer commitment for a lower monthly rate. A written quote at the published rate is held for 30 days.
