Insurance Claims and Restoration Coordinator

The role

We are looking for a Claims and Restoration Coordinator for US restoration contractors, storm response companies, public adjusters and insurance agencies. This is the office work behind every claim: opening and tracking jobs, following up with carriers and adjusters, chasing approvals and payments, keeping the job file complete, and scheduling crews and inspections. Xactimate, Encircle, DASH or CCC experience is a strong plus. Selected candidates are interviewed now and matched to a client engagement as it opens.

What you will do

• Open jobs, build the claim file and keep every document, photo and note in its place
• Follow up with insurance carriers and adjusters on approvals, supplements and payments
• Schedule inspections, crews and subcontractors and keep the customer informed
• Prepare or review estimates and supplements in Xactimate when trained
• Report on open claims, aging receivables and what is blocked
• Keep customers calm and informed during a stressful time

What you bring

• 2 or more years in restoration, roofing, contracting, insurance or claims administration
• Comfortable on the phone with carriers, adjusters and homeowners
• Organized under volume: storm season means many open jobs at once
• Clear written and spoken English; able to work US hours
• A quiet, private workspace and a wired internet connection
