The role
Neon Link places remote AI video editors in the Philippines with US companies. US small businesses need a steady stream of short video for social and ads, and AI tools now let one skilled editor produce what used to take a crew: avatar presenters, generated footage, AI voiceovers and fast versions for every platform. You join a client full time, edit their short-form and ad video, produce the AI footage and voice, and keep every piece on brand. We judge the reel, not the resume: send a portfolio link with short-form or ad work you edited for clients or on your own channel, tell us which parts were AI generated and how you made them hold up. We never charge a fee to apply, test, train or start.
What you'll do
- Edit short-form and ad video for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook and YouTube in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut: hooks, pacing, cuts, music and sound
- Produce AI avatar videos in HeyGen or a similar tool and generated footage in Veo, Kling, Runway or similar tools, and blend them with real footage so the result looks intentional
- Create voiceovers in ElevenLabs or a similar tool from approved scripts, using only voices the client has the rights to use
- Add captions, titles and motion graphics that read on a phone with the sound off
- Cut each video into versions for each platform's aspect ratio, length and caption style, plus variations for ad testing
- Keep the brand look consistent with a style guide, templates and a library of approved assets, fonts and colors
- Organize projects, files and versions so anyone on the client's team can find the final cut and the source
- Videos delivered on the schedule set with the client, ready to post without rework
- A brand look that stays consistent across every platform
- The measures the client tracks, such as watch time and ad results, moving the right way over time
What you bring
- Either 2 or more years editing short-form or ad video for brands or businesses, or a channel or page of your own that you grew with short-form video, with a portfolio to show it
- Hands-on with AI video generation such as Veo, Kling or Runway, plus an avatar or voice tool such as HeyGen, Synthesia or ElevenLabs, in published work for a client or on your own channel
- Strong in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, CapCut or a similar editor, plus captioning and basic motion graphics
- A sharp eye for brand consistency, pacing and what holds attention in the opening seconds
- Clear written English for briefs, scripts and feedback with a US client
- Able to work US business hours, a night shift in the Philippines, and hold that schedule long term
- Careful with a client's footage and brand assets: you keep raw files, scripts and unreleased work in the client's accounts and out of your public portfolio until the client says otherwise, and you'll sign a confidentiality agreement and pass a background check, including a current NBI clearance
- Education: any degree or none; your portfolio matters more
- After Effects, Canva or Figma for thumbnails and graphics
- Writing hooks and short ad scripts, or reading ad performance data
- Creative work of your own, such as short films, animation, comedy sketches or AI art, that shows taste and storytelling
Work setup
- Your own computer that runs your editor smoothly: 16 GB of RAM or more, an Intel Core i7, AMD Ryzen 7 or Apple M series processor, and a dedicated graphics card if it runs Windows, with a webcam and a headset
- Fiber internet of at least 50 Mbps, with a mobile data or second provider backup
- A UPS or generator so a brownout doesn't end your shift
- A quiet workspace for client calls and review sessions
- Tell us your city and province when you apply; we hire across regions, so one storm or outage doesn't hit everyone at once
You'll do well here if
